A transformation of pages from a 1970 Japanese children's book of fairly tales, with a new handwritten narrative by Price based on a randomly reordered page sequence. 

Drawing, painting, calligraphy, paper cutting, and collage with Japanese fabrics. Colored pencil (used for taking a rubbing from tatami mat floor), graphite, sumi ink, gouache, and acrylic medium. Vellum sheets wrap individual pages hinged with fabric strips sewn into a single-signature hybrid pamphlet with exposed spine.
